She further honed her artistry as a brand ambassador for MAC (Canada), Dior, and Chanel, while simultaneously managing a successful weekend bridal business, Brides to Be NY. Whether backstage at a runway show, on film sets, or working with celebrity clients, MiMi’s work was—and still is—defined by her commitment to flawless beauty.

Yet life has a way of shifting perspectives. As a single mother balancing a demanding career, MiMi’s world changed when her teenage son was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2000. Navigating the emotional and physical demands of supporting him through his fight, she began to step away from the glamorous heights of the beauty world. After his passing in 2005, MiMi didn’t immediately return to beauty. She chose a different path for a time, reflecting on what truly mattered.

Years later, MiMi quietly re-emerged, bringing with her not just the skills of a seasoned professional, but the depth of someone who had experienced life’s greatest challenges. Now, as a Certified Brow Expert, she pours her energy into enhancing her clients’ natural beauty, approaching each appointment with meticulous care and an obsessive passion for detail.
